- Refrigerator (32-39 degrees): Up to 3 days
- Freezer compartment inside a refrigerator: 2 weeks
- Freezer compartment with a separate door: 3 to 4 months
Breast milk can be stored temporarily at room temperature for 24hours at 60 degrees. Breast milk cannot be stored at room tempratures of 80 degrees or more. Be sure not to fill a freezer bag or bottle to capacity as the milk will expand when frozen.
Take the bottle from the refrigerator and hold on to top of the bottle, spinning it slightly in the cup of hot water. In about 1 min the bottle is nice and warm, within a total of 3 minutes.
