Azuma- Japanese restaurant at Penang Queensbay Mall

Finally I am able make a visit to Azuma after hearing good comments from friend. Azuma have 5 different prices of each color plate from RM1.80-RM7.80.

We have ordered soft shell crab set which is a promotion set. The set was less than RM20 which worth the price and it was delicious.

Also we have order the muchroom fried rice which seldom able to get it in Sakae Sushi and Sushi King. I can't forget how delicious it was after tried it for the first time.

We have order the Salmon head soup which is kind like Salmon Kabuto Miso in Sakae Sushi. The different was the Salmon was fried in Azuma. I prefer non fried one. The soup was tasty and i can taste the freshness in Salmon Kabuto Miso at Sakae Sushi.

I personally like the customer service that i get in Azuma. They also free us the Nestum ais krim that we can taste at the end.

My hubby and I pull in celebrated valentine day last week since valentine day fall at the same day with first day of Chinese New Year. My hubby planned went to Japanese restaurant near to Tanjung Tokong initially. Due to traffic jam about 1 hour we decided went to Gurney.

My hubby selected Sakae Sushi as we were hungry and the food there ready to be served. We ordered Sakura Bento, Salmon Belly Sushi, Soft Shell crab Temaki, Hana Maki and etc. We likes the Sakura Bento which combination a various of dish like grilled duck meat, codfish, seasoned octopus, fried tofu topped with codfish roe and mayonnaise, potato salad, unagi chawanmushi, rice and miso soup.

I would like to recommend Salmon Belly Sushi if you are raw fish lover. Salmon Belly meat taste different with other part of Salmon meat. Salmon belly is indeed loaded with fat, but is often considered the tastiest part of the fish.
